Shafqat you applied on 20 April, 2010 and u already have a CO. Is this delay? There are so many British applicants who are waiting for the glimpse of CO since one and half year. I wish, pray and hope that u would get Visa soon. Also DIAC doesnt do security checks for everyone.

Partially agree, my case is just 1 month old and i am not in hurry. For security verification it is true they randomly select candidates but it is not true for Pakistani applicants and you very well know why

Berlitz is for improving speaking and general communication, for IELTS you have to learn some tips and tricks, i have appeared in IELTS 4 times and i well know that it is just a luck along with method to attempt a module.

I know two Pakistanis who even don't know what security checks are. The got Visa in 6 months and are in Australia right now. They carry out security checks for most but for some they don't do these checks.

Yes I know many applicants. Go to British expats website or POMS in OZ and u would find hundreds there waiting for their visa.
There is someone in UK who had to wait for about 2 years to complete their security checks. The official time for Visa is 15 to 18 months. How can we expect a Visa before that?

If they are non CSL no MODL they have to wait but major Pakistani applicants have very high priority processing, it doesn't make sense if only security agencies are taking 6 to 9 months.

Yes it doesn't make sense but unfortunately its true. Most of Pakistanis applying are from IT and are high priority. Some get Visa very soon and some get stuck. For example look at the timeline of AdeelAK at BE update. He got visa in almost six months. Applied on 6 Jan, 2009 and got visa on 29 July, 2009. His Form 80 was also requested by CO but it took a month to finalize his Visa.

No I don't know. Its hardly a year since May, 2009 and I dont expect a Visa so soon. I tried to find this timeline on BE but there was no one who got Visa in such short time.
