Any update for Pakistani applicants?

Anyone who has previously listened internal checks in your case, is it yet finished?

These checks are patience killer and I want to know quick update now.

1. I am August-2009 175 CSL applicant, i just got married last week, now i want to include my wife in my on-going application. Should i just send Form-1022 (Change in circumstances)? Or should i also send other forms like Form-80 (Personal particulars for character assessment), 47a - (Details of Dependent Family Member)?

2. My wife is going to take her IELTS exam on Nov-2010. So should i inform DIAC about the change in Circumstances after getting her exam's result? (as it is one of the requirements to submit her IELTS with min. 4.5 band in each module).

Or Should i send above Forms now. and later on send the IELTS results?

good news for all paki applicants, I have seen few paki guys who got their visas in this month and few got medical and PCC request. What I observed that Form80 or security checks will take atleast 1 to 1.5 years for Pakistan .

Yes, lot of movement regarding PCC/Medical requests but still only a couple of grants

I just join the forum but i saw previous chats which is very informative for me.

well my case is also in very similar situation which discussed in this forum, my CO officer asked me form80 in oct 2010 which i sent to her.

Me and my previous employer also received verification call from Australian high comm Islamabad in 1st week of Nov 2010 but after that no further email and call receive.

So its take another 8 to 10 months for medical ?????

My time lime is mention below:

Application logged in Aug 2010
CO assigned OCT 2010 (she asked me salary slip,tax document, bank statement and form80)
Verification call received on Nov 2010
Medical & PCC............ waiting

dude you just applied in August, so chill back and relax
the bottle neck are the security checks form 80 etc, they are taking approx 9-12 months to complete in Pakistan,
The CO could have asked for medicals along with form 80 but it would be meaningless as your applicant can't process further before the completion of form 80 checks

one more November 2009 Paki applicant got his visa.....things are moving but slowly

CO assigned , requested FORM 80 on 15 Sep2010 & FORM 80 Submitted on 2nd Oct 2010

When i check online there is no change in anything , All is showing as Date of application and Medical , PCC submitted in 2008 ,
even its not showing as Form 80 requested or something .

Experts , can you Please give your feedback . Does Security check takes 9-12 months for all pakistani applicants
including expatriates residing outside pakistan ?

yes approximate time for security assessment for pakistanis are 12 to 18 months. whats ur occupation?

My occupation is an Accountant

there have been a few members here located outside Pakistan ( even located in Australia) and for PR they security checks were taking same time as someone who was located in Pakistan
so yes, 8-12 months is what you should look for

It is general perception that external checks start after CO asks for form 80
As you have been just allocated CO and have sent form 80 so your checks will start from now, of-course there is no work on the case before the CO is allocated , start counting your time from the day of CO allocation and add ~10-12 months to it as an estimated time for completion of case

Hi, I applied online 175 visa on june 2008.Got CO in september and send form 80,text documents and 3 year payslip.
My question is that CO requested to all of you only 80 or also he asked for payslips or taxt documnets and bankstatment?
and what you guyz supplied in response of co query?.
I am paper based so cant see any progress of my status.
